Danielle began teaching
steadily while attending college at North Carolina State University.
She first taught at a summer camp at a local hunter barn and
then as a full-time horse instructor before beginning to teach independently.
While in school, Danielle was only able to maintain a small
number of riding students. Now with her own horse farm, she has maintained
this philosophy. A low student-teacher ratio allows for highly
specialized, detailed and |
individualized attention
and instruction for every student. Danielle travels both
locally and regionally to client barns. She enjoys teaching
a wide range of riding students varying in both age and experience;
from young pony riders to adult amateurs; from beginners to
advanced competitive students.

Instruction techniques are tailored based on the experience
level, emotional and physical maturity, and the expectations
of each horse and rider combination. The foundation of Danielle’s
program lies in equitation and the philosophy that form is function.
Classical as well as modern riding and instruction techniques
are incorporated in order to achieve these goals.
